Hi all – so after last week’s successful team tournament, for the ridiculously bad administration of which I would once again like to apologise, I thought I would upload some pictures and immortalise the winning team

What are Your thoughts on how often we should do this? maybe alternate monday evenings between training and tournaments?

Also – if those of You interested in us hosting some kind of tournament could make sure that you show up next week or the week after, so we can sort out a suitable date and inform the pub owners accordingly that would be splendid.

Hi folks,
We are pleased to announce that we finally managed to organize a
proper table in central Edinburgh. From October on, we are going to play at the Malones, an Irish pub in Forrest Rd. We are going to meet and play for the first time this term on
Monday, 3rd of October at 6pm
at the new venue. Malones hosts Live-Music daily from 10pm, so it looks like we are having our weekly meetings from 7ish to 10pm. Join us that Monday if you’d like to have a vote as to which day of the week we’ll pick for our later sessions.
Bad news everyone:
Due to recurrent miscommunications with our surprisingly unreliable friends at Teviot, EUSA had to cancel our Tournaments on campus. Apparently, the plan to acquire tables was conditional on EUSA being able to completely refurbish Teviot Sports bar, which is now canceled for lack of funding. We have been told that the sports bar would be the only place in Teviot where a table could fit..
But don’t despair: We have organized a tournament during freshers’:
Meet us Friday 16/09, at 6pm in KB-House to play some matches and hear the full story of our ongoing quest for a table in central Edinburgh! We’ll start with some freeplay and depending on how many of you show up will proceed with a “King of the hill” or “Double Elimination” tournament with random teams. Here’s the poster; looking forward to kick your asses!

Unfortunately, they have not managed to decide on one of the options to
buy or rent tables and have settled for.. *drum roll*..
not getting any this year.
The tournaments will be carried out on our very own Fireball table, temporarily moved to
Teviot for Freshers Week.
Nevertheless do come, hit some balls and meet up with other foosball enthusiasts.
Lets prove our point that there is demand for more tables!
